Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration becauseit supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our 6th grade class is the oldest generation in our k-8 dual immersion program. We are looking to provide a well stocked Spanish library for our growing bilinguals. We strive to sustain hispanic culture by paying tribute to Spanish and Latin based literature. Living in Arizona, our goal is to make this language accessible to our students, to embrace diversity, and celebrate local heritage. Our students are acquiring Spanish as a second language and we want to make sure we provide any resource they might need to succeed.
