This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. The last time I went to Yangon on a business trip was in the middle of last year. At that time, I felt that the hotel was very new because it had just opened. However, it was just in trial operation at that time, and some services were not in place. This second time I came on a business trip, I still chose this hotel. The facilities are excellent and comprehensive. There are restaurants, massages, swimming pools and fitness. After all, it is a 4-star hotel. The service has also made a lot of changes. I was very satisfied with the stay. I will still choose this hotel for business trips in the future. ps~ The weather in Yangon is really hot

Hello there! Here, I’m just want to write bar castle which has rooftop at Hotel Sidney. Just taste it! I’m sure you will love it coz fresh air are around you and 360 degree view are treat your tension mind, day out of one. Hotel? Nice deco, all the service are very hospitable, and the guy who has smart one. He assist to the guest whatever needed called Mr. Ye Htut Win. Green environment are around you what is you see!!! Hotel isn’t very expensive because room rate starts at 55,000 only and rooms are fully equipped with amenities as well as a rooftop bar with 360 view of the city. Reception was friendly and offered to help with bags. But receptionists do get very overwhelmed with the huge amount of guests checking in. I was lucky that there were only three people checking in in front of me so the wait wasn’t that long. Breakfast was good for the price of the hotel even comes with pastry. Wish the hotel was less full during weekends and holidays as rooms are hard to come by then. Maybe the hotel should raise the rates.

Okay I don't usually send reviews but, Gemsy is one of the best value places to stay in Yangon and totally underrated - 23 year YGN vet here. Under 2 year old hotel so the photos are 100% accurate. Stayed here for 7 weeks in May/June 2020 in different rooms including their main royal gemsy, all top notch, even gave me a tour of other options which are all as pic showed. Location not downtown (so maybe not perfect for some), but supermarket a 1min walk away, street food and many restaurants under 3min walk, also on main bus route if wanting to travel as a local further, ofc taxi easy via grab. On staff can only say great, GM Ma Irene perfect, Ma Phyu at reception awesome, other staff also all wearing masks so mmmm names missing but all great and chatty. Simply no negative issues, wish they opened buffet brekkie, but understand during covid, though they will deliver to your room free. Can say much more, but a perfect spot to stay in YGN for sure.

The hotel staff are friendly and the services are good. The room is large and clean. The first morning, I ordered black coffee at the breakfast buffet. I ordered black coffee again on the second morning. On the third morning, the staff served me black coffee without a word from me. This shows that they are thoughtful and they remember their guests' preferences.

No welcome drink . The reception area was abit messy. There’s a lots staffs standing at reception & lobby area, but no use.Inside the hotel room, the small refrigerator was empty and there has no mineral water bottle nor soft drinks . Also the fridge was not cold and although we adjusted the control button.There has no tissue in hotel room. Inside bathrooms, hot/cold water button was spoiled both at shower and basin . We orders dinner from hotel restaurant and Called them to collect the dishes after we ate but never come and collect until the next day we check out.

Received a gift voucher from my sis-in-law to stay at a Gary Player Suite. The rooms are wide and clean - the bathroom as well. Loved taking a shower there. The view is fantastic and it's just so relaxing to lie on the bed, take in the golf course scenery and just use your phone on the bed. Nice to chill. Although the hotel provided mosquito repellent liquid, mosquitoes just won't die there. It is a nice getaway place and there is a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. The lobby is in the open space, so you can just relax there with the cool breeze coming in from the golf course. I will blame Covid19 for not being able to enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The waiters just gave us a set menu to choose from. Try the Healthy Breakfast set. It is by far the best menu there. Not many guests during the Covid19 period but the waiters forgot to serve us coffee which was imcluded in the set menu. Conclusion: a nice quiet place to just chill (nothing else), there are two other restaurants / cafes nearby... and most importantly, prepare your own mosquito repellent spray, especially in the Monsoon Season as the mosquitoes are no joke!!

Perfect location to stay in Pan Pacific Yangon For me, Not the first time i had a great review for this hotel. I had been here several times as it's really the best hotel. Hotel room is cleanliness and comfy bed. And I was really enjoyed buffet breakfast, also I love to sit the bar to chill with my love one. All staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel besides really good locations. You will see a lovely Church from swimming pool and nice to relaxing. Highly recommended to all business and vacation travelers.
