Okay I don't usually send reviews but, Gemsy is one of the best value places to stay in Yangon and totally underrated - 23 year YGN vet here. Under 2 year old hotel so the photos are 100% accurate. Stayed here for 7 weeks in May/June 2020 in different rooms including their main royal gemsy, all top notch, even gave me a tour of other options which are all as pic showed. Location not downtown (so maybe not perfect for some), but supermarket a 1min walk away, street food and many restaurants under 3min walk, also on main bus route if wanting to travel as a local further, ofc taxi easy via grab. On staff can only say great, GM Ma Irene perfect, Ma Phyu at reception awesome, other staff also all wearing masks so mmmm names missing but all great and chatty. Simply no negative issues, wish they opened buffet brekkie, but understand during covid, though they will deliver to your room free. Can say much more, but a perfect spot to stay in YGN for sure.

Hotel isn’t very expensive because room rate starts at 55,000 only and rooms are fully equipped with amenities as well as a rooftop bar with 360 view of the city. Reception was friendly and offered to help with bags. But receptionists do get very overwhelmed with the huge amount of guests checking in. I was lucky that there were only three people checking in in front of me so the wait wasn’t that long. Breakfast was good for the price of the hotel even comes with pastry. Wish the hotel was less full during weekends and holidays as rooms are hard to come by then. Maybe the hotel should raise the rates.

Hello there! Here, I’m just want to write bar castle which has rooftop at Hotel Sidney. Just taste it! I’m sure you will love it coz fresh air are around you and 360 degree view are treat your tension mind, day out of one. Hotel? Nice deco, all the service are very hospitable, and the guy who has smart one. He assist to the guest whatever needed called Mr. Ye Htut Win. Green environment are around you what is you see!!! No welcome drink . The reception area was abit messy. There’s a lots staffs standing at reception & lobby area, but no use.Inside the hotel room, the small refrigerator was empty and there has no mineral water bottle nor soft drinks . Also the fridge was not cold and although we adjusted the control button.There has no tissue in hotel room. Inside bathrooms, hot/cold water button was spoiled both at shower and basin . We orders dinner from hotel restaurant and Called them to collect the dishes after we ate but never come and collect until the next day we check out.

The hotel staff are friendly and the services are good. The room is large and clean. The first morning, I ordered black coffee at the breakfast buffet. I ordered black coffee again on the second morning. On the third morning, the staff served me black coffee without a word from me. This shows that they are thoughtful and they remember their guests' preferences.

It was the best hotel in Yangon where I stayed. We arrived on 29 at 11am, the room was ready and they gave us the room. Our stay there was shorter than we expect, was not the best period to travel, so next day we had to move, we finally found a flight to go back to our country. Even if I paid for a day more, the staff refound us the amount. The rooms are really better thank the pics on Booking. Big rooms (not so usual to find in Yangon), clean and elegantly furnished. On the rooftop we found the wonderful pool, the perfect place to relax ourselves, and forget a little that we had non flight to go back home. There is also the restaurant, where during the morning you can take ur breakfast, lot of choise between salty and sweet. Here u can take also the lunch or the dinner, good prices and nice food. We want to thank the staff for all course our stay here was great, if we will come back to Yangon we definitely come back to your hotel.

Perfect location to stay in Pan Pacific Yangon For me, Not the first time i had a great review for this hotel. I had been here several times as it's really the best hotel. Hotel room is cleanliness and comfy bed. And I was really enjoyed buffet breakfast, also I love to sit the bar to chill with my love one. All staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel besides really good locations. You will see a lovely Church from swimming pool and nice to relaxing. Highly recommended to all business and vacation travelers. The location is quiet, there are several barbecue restaurants nearby and there are live singing, you can spend a good dinner time, the hotel staff is warm and intimate, the room is clean, the bed is very good to sleep, the breakfast choice style is not much but not bad to eat, our small family lived Deluxe King Room, At this price, if you really want to pick the shortcomings, the bathroom is not separated from wet and dry, the furnishings in the room can be improved, others are acceptable, the swimming pool feels a little smaller, there is also BAR on the top floor, but there is no chance to consume, so I don’t know what the situation is. In short, thank you very much for our small family's assistance and early check-in after arriving at the hotel on the morning of the check-in.
